This Java applet shows any number of images with a video-like CheckerBoard special effect which rotates and fades alternate image blocks simultaneously.

Configurable parameters:
Image files;
Sound file (optional);
Number of horizontal image blocks;
Number of vertical image blocks;
Frames for fading and rotating;
Pause step for final image display;
URL link for each image;
Target frame(optional) for each image;
Delay between each frame.
